Sharing with family

Sending someone a link

1. Open Family.
2. Find the person you want to invite, or add them first.
3. Press Copy link on their row.
4. Send it however you already talk to them — text, email, whatever.

That is the whole flow. There is no invitation to accept and no account to create at the other end.

What they see

They open the link and see the week ahead: who is playing, where, and when. They can say whether they are coming and offer a ride, and it saves as they tap.

Invite links open at a larger text size by default, because the people most likely to be handed one are the people most likely to be squinting.

Deciding what gets shared

Each calendar has a default: Shared family or Household only. Shared family events appear on invite links. Household only events stay on your signed-in Upcoming and are never on a link you send out.

You set that on the calendar itself, under Save sharing, and you can override it for a single event when one practice is nobody else's business.

Taking a link back

Treat an invite link like a house key: anyone holding it can see the schedule it points at. Search engines are told not to index them, but a link that reaches the wrong person is still a link that works.

If one goes astray, open Family and use Replace to issue a fresh link, or Revoke to kill it outright. The old link stops working immediately.
